Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: ISS Sensor & Retaining Bolt

    IMPORTANT: Lubricate the O-ring with ISU DEXRON III.
  1. Install a new O-ring on the ISS sensor.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the ISS sensor and retaining bolt into the transaxle case.

    Tighten:  Tighten the ISS sensor retaining bolt to 5.4 N.m (48 lb in).

  3. Connect the ISS sensor electrical connector.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
