Enabling Procedure

  1. Connect the inflatable restraint side impact module - RF connector (1) located under the passenger seat.
  2. Install the CPA to the side impact module - RF connector (1).

  3. Install the F8 Fuse.
  4. Install the fuse box cover.
  5. Staying well away from all inflator modules and pretensioners, turn ON the ignition.
    • The AIR BAG indicator will flash 7 times.
    • The AIR BAG indicator will then turn OFF.
  6. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle if the AIR BAG warning indicator does not operate as described.
