Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the audio system. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.
Remove the HVAC controller. Refer to HVAC Control Assembly Replacement .

Fig 2: Heater/Defrost Cable Eyelet

Disconnect the heater/defrost cable eyelet from the post.
