Removal Procedure

  1. Fold down the rear seat back.
  2. Remove the C-pillar trim.
  3. Remove the rear seat belt lower anchor bolts. Refer to Shoulder Belt Replacement - Rear .
  4. Remove the center high mounted stop lamp. Refer to High Mount Stop Lamp Inoperative .
  5. Remove the child seat anchors. Refer to Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement (Five Door) or Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement (Four Door North America ) or Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement (Four Door Except North America) .
  6. Remove the back panel upper cover.
  7. Remove the plastic retaining clips.
  8. Slide the deck lid sill plate cover forward to remove.
