Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON, using a scan tool observe the DTC information. Verify DTCs P0122, P0123, P0222, or P0223 are not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set go to DTC P0122, P0123, P0222, P0223, or P2135 for further diagnosis.
Ignition ON, observe the TP Sensor percentage parameters with a scan tool. Verify the TP sensors are between 7-21 percent.
- If either TP sensor voltage is not within the specified range go to DTC P0122, P0123, P0222, P0223, or P2135 for further diagnosis.
Rapidly depress the accelerator pedal from the rest position to the wide open throttle position (WOT) and release pedal. Repeat the procedure several times. DTCs P1516, P2101, or P2119 should not set.
- If any of the DTCs P0122, P0123, P0222, P0223, or P2135 set while performing this procedure go to DTC P0122, P0123, P0222, P0223, or P2135 for further diagnosis.
Slowly depress the accelerator pedal to WOT and then slowly return the pedal to closed throttle. Repeat the procedure several times. DTCs P1516, P2101, or P2119 should not set.
- If any of the DTCs P0122, P0123, P0222, P0223, or P2135 set while performing this procedure go to DTC P0122, P0123, P0222, P0223, or P2135 for further diagnosis.
If the vehicle passes the Circuit/System Verification Test, then operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that are captured in the Freeze Frame/Failure Records List.
