Installation Procedure

With the key in the ignition lock cylinder, ensure the ignition lock cylinder is in the ACC position.
Install the lock cylinder to the housing.
Remove the key from the ignition lock cylinder.

Install the upper and the lower steering column cover panels.
Install the lower steering column cover panel screws.
Tighten

Tighten the lower steering column cover panel screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
Turn the steering wheel in order to access the upper steering column cover panel screw holes. Install the upper steering column cover panel screws.
Tighten

Tighten the upper steering column cover panel screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
Connect the negative battery cable.
