Stabilizer Shaft and Insulators Removal and Installation: Installation

  1. Install the stabilizer shaft.
  2. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator clamps, the stabilizer shaft clamp bolt, and the insulators onto the crossmember. Do not tighten the bolt.

  3. Install the stabilizer link onto the stabilizer shaft and connect them with the stabilizer shaft-to-stabilizer link nut.

    Tighten: 

    • Tighten the stabilizer shaft-to-stabilizer link nut to 47 N.m (35 lb-ft).
    • Tighten the stabilizer shaft-to-crossmember clamp bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb-ft).
  4. Install the front wheels. Refer to WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
