Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Pipe Removal and Installation: Installation

  1. Install the EVAP emission canister vapor pipe.
  2. Install the EVAP emission canister vapor pipe retaining bolts.

    Tighten: 

    Tighten the EVAP emission canister vapor pipe retaining bolts to 7 - 12 N.m (5.2 - 8.9 lb-in).

  3. Connect the EVAP emission canister vapor pipe to the EVAP emission canister vapor rear hose.

  4. Connect the EVAP emission canister front hose to the EVAP emission canister vapor pipe.

  5. Connect the EVAP emission canister front hose to the EVAP emission canister purge solenoid valve.
