Suspension Control Arm Removal And Installation: Removal

Hoist vehicle and remove wheel.
Uncaulk drive shaft nut (1).
Depress foot brake pedal and hold it. Remove drive shaft nut (1).

Disconnect tie-rod end (1) from steering knuckle (2) with puller (3). See STEERING KNUCKLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Loosen ball joint nut (1).

Remove suspension control arm bolts (1).

Disconnect ball joint from steering knuckle (2) with puller and then remove suspension control arm (2).
