Suspension Control Arm Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Hoist vehicle and remove wheel.
  2. Uncaulk drive shaft nut (1).
  3. Depress foot brake pedal and hold it. Remove drive shaft nut (1).

  4. Disconnect tie-rod end (1) from steering knuckle (2) with puller (3). See STEERING KNUCKLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  5. Loosen ball joint nut (1).

  6. Remove suspension control arm bolts (1).

  7. Disconnect ball joint from steering knuckle (2) with puller and then remove suspension control arm (2).
