DTC TROUBLESHOOTING

Step	Action	YES	NO
1	Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?	Go to Step 2.	Go to AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK:ADVANCED AIR BAG .
2	Turn ignition switch OFF. Disconnect SDM connector "L33" and seat belt buckle sensor connector "L58" or "L60". Check proper connection to SDM connector at terminals "L33-20" and "L33-21" (for DTC B1381), or terminals "L33-22" and "L33-23" (for DTC B1384). Check proper connection to seat belt buckle sensor connector at terminals "L58-1" and "L58-2" or "L60-1" and "L60-2". Using service wire (1), connect "L58-1" and "L58-2" terminal (for DTC B1381) or "L60-1" and "L60-2" terminal (for DTC B1384) of seat belt buckle sensor connector. Measure resistance between terminals "L33-20" and "L33- 21" (for DTC B1381), or between terminals "L33-22" and "L33-23" (for DTC B1384). Special Tool 09932-76010 Is each measured resistance 1 Ω or less?	Go to Step 3.	For DTC B1381: High resistance or open wire in "RED/BLU" circuit or "RED/BLK" circuit. For DTC B1384: High resistance or open wire in "WHT/BLU" circuit or "WHT/BLK" circuit.
3	Check seat belt buckle sensor referring to FRONT SEAT BELT INSPECTION . Is it in good condition?	Substitute a known-good SDM and recheck.	Replace seat belt buckle sensor referring to FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . If DTC still exists, substitute a known-good SDM and recheck.

NOTE: Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.

Reconnect all air bag system components, ensure all components are properly mounted.
Clear DTCs referring to DTC CLEARANCE:ADVANCED AIR BAG , if any.
Repeat AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK:ADVANCED AIR BAG to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
