DTC TROUBLESHOOTING

Step	Action	YES	NO
1	Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?	Go to Step 2.	Go to AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK:ADVANCED AIR BAG .
2	Turn ignition switch OFF. Remove and inspect "METER" fuse. Is fuse good?	Go to Step 3.	"PPL/RED" wire short to ground. After repair, replace "METER" fuse.
3	Disconnect SDM connector "G46" and center console indicator connector "G61". Check proper connection to SDM at terminal "G46-10" and center console indicator connector "G61-5". Check "PASS AIR BAG OFF" warning lamp circuit between "G46-10" and "G61-5" for open, short and high resistance. Special Tool 09932-76010 Is it in good condition?	o to Step 4.	Repair "BLK/BLU" circuit.
4	Check proper connection to SDM at terminal "G61-2" and center console indicator connector "G03-11". Check "PASS AIR BAG OFF" warning lamp circuit between "G61-2" and "G03-11" for open, short and high resistance. Is it in good condition?	Go to Step 5.	Repair "PPL/RED" circuit.
5	Check center panel indicator included in HVAC control module. Is it in good condition?	Substitute a known-good SDM and recheck.	Replace center panel indicator included in HVAC control module referring to HVAC CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . If DTC still exists, substitute a known-good SDM and recheck.

NOTE: Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.

Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
Clear DTCs referring to DTC CLEARANCE:ADVANCED AIR BAG , if any.
Repeat AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK:ADVANCED AIR BAG to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
