Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Suzuki XL7. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Take care not to catch the transmission shift cable or left wheel house plastic trim when installing the stabilizer shaft.
  1. Install the stabilizer shaft to the vehicle through the left wheel opening.

  2. Install the stabilizer shaft clamps and bushings to the stabilizer bar.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the stabilizer shaft clamp bolts.

    Tightening torque 

    Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft)  .

  4. Install the stabilizer shaft link ball stud to the stabilizer shaft. Refer to STABILIZER SHAFT LINK REPLACEMENT .
  5. Install the left and right outer tie rod ends on the knuckle. Refer to RACK AND PINION OUTER TIE ROD END REPLACEMENT .
  6. Install the front tire and wheels. Refer to INSTALLATION PROCEDURE .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
