DTC Troubleshooting

NOTE:
Before this trouble shooting is performed, read the precautions for DTC troubleshooting by referring to PRECAUTIONS FOR DTC TROUBLESHOOTING .

| 2 | Is DTC P0462/P0463 detected? | Proceed to DTC P0462/P0463: FUEL LEVEL SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW/HIGH . | Go to Step 3. |
| 3 | Do you have SUZUKI scan tool? | Go to Step 4. | Go to Step 5. |
| 4 | Change of fuel level check
Is L2 higher than L1? |
Intermittent trouble. If OK, substitute a known good ECM and recheck. | Go to Step 6. |
| 5 | Fuel level sensor signal voltage check
Is V2 lower than V1? |
Intermittent trouble. If OK, substitute a known good ECM and recheck. | Go to Step 6. |
| 6 | Fuel level sensor check
Is it in good condition? |
Go to Step 7. | Replace main and/or sub fuel level sensor. |
| 7 | Wire harness check
Are they in good condition? |
Substitute a known good ECM and recheck. | Repair or replace. |
