Tire Pressure Sensor On-Vehicle Inspection

NOTE: Perform Steps  6) to  7) within 15 minutes after the vehicle was driven. If more than 15 minutes have elapsed after the vehicle was driven, perform Step  5) again.
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
  2. Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC (1).

  3. Check each tire for crack, any other damage and air leakage.
  4. Adjust each tire pressure to 220 kPa.
  5. Drive vehicle at more than 40 km/h (25 mph) for 2 minutes.
  6. Select "Data List" under BCM of SUZUKI scan tool.
  7. Check "Sensor status" of each tire pressure sensor indicated in "Data List". It should be "Normal". If "OFF" is indicated, register the ID code of the tire pressure sensor in BCM, referring to REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID CODE . If "Learn", "Low Battery", "Re-measure" or "Wake" is indicated, replace the tire pressure sensor.
