How to Identify Tire Pressure Sensor Number

NOTE: Perform Steps  4) to  7) within 15 minutes after the vehicle was driven. If more than 15 minutes have elapsed after the vehicle was driven, perform Step  2) again.
  1. Check each tire for crack, any other damage and air leakage.
  2. Adjust each tire pressure to 220 kPa.
  3. Drive vehicle at more than 40 km/h (25 mph) for 2 minutes.
  4. Adjust the right front tire pressure to 150 kPa.
  5. Wait for 1 minute with ignition switch in ON position.
  6. Check DTC referring to DTC CHECK  for checking procedure.
  7. Using the indicated DTC and referring to DTC TABLE , check for the number of the tire pressure sensor. The number indicated by DTC represents the number of the tire pressure sensor of the right front tire.
  8. Adjust right front tire pressure to 220 kPa.
  9. Clear DTC referring to DTC CLEARANCE .
  10. Confirm the number of tire pressure sensor for other tires by same procedure.
