HOMELINK® Set Inspection (If Equipped)

  1. Press each of 3 switches (1) and check that LED (2) lights up each time.

    If LED fails to light with any of these switches, replace HomeLink® set.

    If LED fails to light with all of switches, check power and ground circuits of HomeLink® set.

  2. Connect power supply of HomeLink® tester (1) (made by KENT MORE), with accessory socket or cigarette lighter socket.
  3. Referring to the registration method of the customer transmitter code in owner's manual, register the code of the test transmitter in the HomeLink® tester.

    If transmitter code cannot be registered, replace HomeLink® set.

    NOTE: When transmitter code of the test transmitter in the HomeLink® tester is registered in the switch which the customer transmitter code is registered in, the customer transmitter code is erased.
    Therefore, be sure to register the erased code after the inspection.
  4. With ignition switch ON, press the switch of the HomeLink® set which the transmitter code of the test transmitter is registered in. Then, make sure that the LED (2) of the HomeLink® tester is turned ON.

    If LED does not light up, replace HomeLink® set.
