DTC Confirmation Procedure

NOTE:
Check to make sure that following conditions are satisfied when using this "DTC Confirmation Procedure".
Other than MEXICO model:
MEXICO model:
- Engine coolant temperature: higher than -10 °C (14 °F).
Other than MEXICO model:
- The following DTCs are not detected: ECT sensor, A/F sensor and A/F sensor heater.
MEXICO model:
- The following DTCs are not detected: ECT sensor, MAF sensor, A/F sensor heater and IAT sensor.
- With ignition switch turned OFF, connect scan tool to DLC.
- Turn ON ignition switch and clear DTC.
- Start engine and warm up to normal operating temperature.
- Run engine at idle speed for 1 min. or more.
- Check DTC and pending DTC.
