Scan Tool Data Definition

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara and 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

ID code #1, #2, #3 and #4 (Tire pressure sensor ID code):

This parameter indicates each ID code of the tire pressure sensor registered in the BCM.

Sensor #1, #2, #3 and #4 status (Learn, Low battery, OFF, Re-measure, Wake and/or Normal):

This parameter indicates the operational condition of the tire pressure sensor. For farther detail, refer to TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM DESCRIPTION  for transmitting condition of tire pressure sensor.

Air pressure #1, #2, #3 and #4 (kPa):

This parameter indicates the current air pressure in tire measured by tire pressure sensor.

Maximum indicated value: 349.35 kPa

Minimum indicated value: 0 kPa

#1, #2, #3 and #4 ID Regi status (ID registration status):

This parameter indicates whether or not BCM has received the ID code of each tire pressure sensor after it was registered in BCM.

Complete: Indicates that only when BCM has received the ID code of the tire pressure sensor

Incomplete: Indicates that BCM has not received the ID code of the tire pressure sensor

ID code Regi status (ID code registration status):

This parameter indicates whether or not it has been registered in BCM after performing the procedure to register the ID code of the tire pressure sensor in BCM to check.

In progress: Indicates that registration of the ID code is being executed

Complete: Indicates that only when the ID code of each tire pressure sensor has been registered in BCM within a specified work time

Time out: Indicates that the ID code of each tire pressure sensor has not been registered in BCM within a specified work time

Incomplete: Indicates that BCM has not received the ID code of the each tire pressure sensor (indicates normally)

Tire Pres Warn light (Low tire pressure warning light):

ON: BCM detects low tire pressure in the tire or abnormality in system

OFF: Tire pressure monitoring system is in good condition
