DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

DTC detecting condition Trouble area
P0506: Idle Air Control System RPM Lower Than Expected 
Engine idle speed is lower than target idle speed by 100 RPM or more for continuous 10 sec. or more even though IAC is controlled for WOT.
(2 driving cycle detection logic)
  • Electric throttle body assembly
  • Air intake system
  • Engine mechanical
  • EGR valve and its circuit
  • Fuel system
  • ECM
P0507: Idle Air Control System RPM Higher Than Expected 
Engine idle speed is lower than target idle speed by 200 RPM or more for continuous 10 sec. or more even though IAC is controlled for complete close throttle.
