CONDITION

The HVAC fan motor is inoperative at all speeds.

CAUSE

The HVAC motor is experiencing an electrical open circuit due to bearing lubricant contacting the commutator.

CORRECTION

Replace the HVAC fan motor assembly with the updated part listed below. Vehicles produced after the affected VINs listed above already have the updated fan.
