DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area

DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

DTC detecting condition Trouble area
DTC P1424: Evaporative Emission System Leak Detecting Pump Flow High
Difference pressure between initial pressure and reference pressure in EVAP system is higher than the threshold.
(2 driving cycle detection logic, monitoring once per driving cycle)
  • EVAP leak check module and its circuit
  • ECM
DTC P1425: Evaporative Emission System Leak Detecting Pump Flow Low
Difference pressure between initial pressure and reference pressure in EVAP system is lower than the 1 kPa and pressure difference between maximum pressure of EVAP system and reference pressure is higher than the 0.2 kPa when EVAP canister vent valve is changed off (open) to on (close).
(2 driving cycle detection logic, monitoring once per driving cycle)
