SUBJECT: TONNEAU COVER RATTLE

MODEL(S): GRAND VITARA (JB627)

YEAR: 2006

CONDITION: Possible rattle coming from the tonneau cover while driving.

CAUSE: Not enough noise insulation.

CORRECTION: Two self adhesive 1�" by 5/8" felt strips will need to be added to the underside of the tonneau cover. Please follow the instructions.

REPAIR PROCEDURE



1. Lift up the first section of the cover or remove the cover from the vehicle.

2. Clean the indicated area with rubbing alcohol on both left and right sides of the cover.

3. Remove the adhesive strip protective backing.




4. Apply the insulating strips, adhesive toward cover, in location shown on both the left and the right side of the cover.

5. Re-install the Tonneau Cover in the vehicle.
