Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve.
  3. Remove the EGR valve retaining bolts.
  4. Remove the EGR valve from the Electronic Ignition (EI) system ignition coil adapter.
