ID Registration Without Suzuki Scan Tool
- Confirm that all doors are closed and ignition key is out of ignition key cylinder.
- Open driver side door.
- Perform the following Steps a) to c) within 15 seconds after ignition switch turned ON:
- Press driver side door switch hand within 5 seconds after ignition switch turned ON. Keep the switch pressed for 2 seconds.
- Release driver side door switch and then press driver side door switch for 2 seconds or more by hand.
- Release driver side door switch and then press driver side door switch for 2 to 5 seconds by hand.
- Using sensor activation tool (09945-86510), activate each tire pressure sensor within 90 seconds.NOTE: When tire pressure sensor is to be activated, set the sensor activation tool (09945-86510) to the same position as shown in the illustration (see Figure). If the special tool is set to other positions, there is a possibility that tire pressure sensor cannot be activated. When tire pressure sensor is activated, flashing LED and beeping sound of special tool indicate an activation of the tire pressure sensor. In the case that the LED does not flash and beeping sound is not heard, replace faulty tire pressure sensor.
- When tire pressure sensor is activated, ID code of the tire pressure sensor is registered automatically in BCM. When "ID Registration status" indicated on Suzuki scan tool is "Complete", registration has been completed. If "Time Out" is indicated, perform the registration procedure all over. Also, it is possible to check the number of ID codes of tire pressure sensors received by BCM by observing the flashing pattern of the low tire pressure warning light.NOTE: When BCM receives each ID code of 4 tire pressure sensors, BCM turns ON low tire pressure warning light in combination meter for 5 seconds.
- After registration is completed, turn ignition switch OFF.
