TPMS Reminder Reset - Procedure 05

NOTE: If spare tire has been used, or if a wheel or tire pressure sensor has been replaced, the tire pressure sensors must be registered.
NOTE: In high altitude areas, the warning light may not turn off even after adjusting tire pressures. In this case, adjust inflation pressure to a slightly higher pressure than specified.
  1. Install the TPMS transmitters to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the scan tool with ALDL connector.
  3. Turn the Ignition switch to ON.
  4. Go to the ID resister mode of the scan tool.
  5. Contact the LF tool on the air valve and push the LF tool button for 4 seconds, and you can see the TPMS warning lamp blinks. Also you can see the ID on the scan tool screen.
  6. Repeat step 5 for 4 tires respectively within 5 minutes.
    NOTE: In case of tire replacement or rotation, the ID registration should be performed for 4 tires.
