| 1 | Was "Engine and Emission Control System" performed? | Go to Step 2. | Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK . |
| 2 | Is this DTC detected after registering the VIN? | Go to Step 3. | Go to Step 5. |
| 3 | Check scan tool connection Check connector connection of scan tool to DLC and ECM. Are connected conditions OK? |
Go to Step 4. | Connect connector correctly. |
| 4 | Check ECM power and ground circuits
Are they checking results OK? |
Go to Step 5. | Repair ECM power or ground circuit. |
| 5 | Registration data check Check registered VIN data referring to REGISTERED VIN DATA CHECK . Is registration VIN data correctly? |

| 6 | DTC recheck
Is DTC P0630 still indicated? |
Go to Step 7. | Intermittent trouble or faulty ECM. Check for intermittent trouble referring to INTERMITTENT AND POOR CONNECTION INSPECTION . |

Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. | End. |
