Front Stabilizer Bar and/or Bushings Removal and Installation: Installation

Reference: FRONT STABILIZER BAR, BUSHING AND/OR JOINT CHECK 

  1. Loosely assemble all components in reverse order of removal.
  2. With painted mark (1) on stabilizer bar and end face of mount bushing (2) aligned, tighten mount bracket bolts to specified torque.
    NOTE: If painted mark has gone, align the vehicle center and the center of stabilizer bar.

    Tightening torque 

    Stabilizer bar mounting bracket bolt a: 23 N.m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 lb-ft) 

  3. Tighten joint nuts to specified torque.

    When tightening, hold stud with wrench.

    Tightening torque 

    Stabilizer joint nut b: 50 N.m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 lb-ft)
