Blower Motor Inspection

Reference: BLOWER MOTOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 

• Check motor coil for continuity between terminals as shown. If there are no continuity, replace blower motor assembly (1).

• Check motor for smooth operation and current.

1. Fix blower motor assembly (1) using soft-jawed vise.
2. Connect battery and ammeter (1) to blower motor assembly (2) as shown.
3. Check if blower motor operates smoothly and doesn't make abnormal noise.
4. Check if ammeter indicates specified current.

   If current is out of specification, replace blower motor.

   Reference 

   Blower specified current at 12 V 20 A maximum
