Do other warning lights come ON? |
Go to Step 4. | Go to Step 2. |
| 2 | METER fuse check
Is "METER" fuse in good condition? |
Go to Step 3. | Replace "METER" fuse and check for short. |
| 3 | MIL power supply check
Is voltage 10 - 14 V? |
Replace combination meter. | Open wire in "BLK/RED" and "GRN" wire circuit. |

Is voltage 10 - 12 V? |
Go to Step 6. | Go to Step 5. |
| 5 | MIL power supply check
Is resistance 2 ohm or less? |
Replace combination meter. | Open or high resistance in "PPL/YEL" wire circuit. |
| 6 | ECM power and ground circuit check
Does MIL turn on at ignition switch turned ON? |
Check ECM power and ground circuit referring to ECM POWER AND GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK . If OK, substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. | Replace combination meter. |
