DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

Step Action YES NO
Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
EVAP leak detecting pump check 
  1. Check that "GRY/RED", "RED/YEL", "ORN", "BLK/RED", "BLU/WHT", "LT GRN" and "BLK" wire circuits are in good condition.
  2. Check EVAP leak detecting pump for operation referring to EVAP Leak Detecting Pump Check" under EVAP LEAK CHECK MODULE INSPECTION (VEHICLE WITH ORVR SYSTEM) .

Is check result satisfactory? 
Go to Step 3. Faulty EVAP leak detecting pump, replace EVAP leak check module.
EVAP leak check pressure sensor check 
  1. Check initial (barometric) pressure voltage and reference pressure voltage referring to "EVAP Leak Check Pressure Sensor (combine with BARO sensor) Check" under EVAP LEAK CHECK MODULE INSPECTION (VEHICLE WITH ORVR SYSTEM) .

Is check result satisfactory? 
Go to Step 4. Faulty reference orifice or EVAP leak check pressure sensor, replace EVAP leak check module.
EVAP leak check module visual check 
  1. Perform visual check of EVAP leak check module referring to "EVAP Leak Check Module Visual Check" under EVAP LEAK CHECK MODULE INSPECTION (VEHICLE WITH ORVR SYSTEM) .

Is check result satisfactory? 
Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. Replace EVAP leak check module.
