Fuel Meter inspection
NOTE:
Make sure that all related connector terminals are in good contact condition before combination meter inspection.
- Remove combination meter referring to COMBINATION METER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect combination meter connectors to combination meter.
- Short "YEL" wire terminal of combination meter connector to body ground as shown.
- Turn ignition switch to ON position, and check that meter pointer (1) of fuel level gauge indicates "E" and low fuel warning light turns on.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
- Short "YEL" wire terminal of combination meter connector to body ground through a resister (20 Ω) (2) as shown.
- Turn ignition switch to ON position, and check that meter pointer (1) of fuel level gauge indicates "F".
If check result is not satisfied, replace combination meter.
