Cylinder Block Inspection: Notes

Distortion of Gasketed Surface 

Using straightedge and thickness gauge, check gasketed surface for distortion. If flatness exceeds its limit, correct or replace it.

Gasketed surface flatness 

Limit: 0.06 mm (0.0024 in.)
