Cruise Control Servo Cable: Service and Repair

CRUISE CONTROL CABLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect cruise control cable (4) from cruise control arm and accelerator bracket.
2. Remove actuator cap (1) and disconnect cruise control cable (4) from cruise control actuator assembly (with control module) (2).
3. Release cable from all clamps.




4. Remove cable from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
Install cruise control cable by reversing removal procedure. Refer to the following figure for proper clamp location and cable routing.
Adjust cruise control cable play to specification referring to Cruise Control Cable Play Inspection and Adjustment.
