Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the ignition coil wiring harness connectors.
3. Remove the ignition coils.

INSTALLATION




1. Installation should follow the removal procedure in the reverse order.
2. Install the ignition coils.

Tighten
Tighten the ignition coil retaining bolts to 6 - 8 Nm (53 - 71 lb-in).
