DTC C1605 / C1611 / C1612 / C1616: CAN Hardware Error / CAN time-out EMS / CAN time-out TCU / CAN Bus Off






Circuit Description
This DTC is used to identify the condition of CAN (Communicate Area Network) between EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module) and ECM (Engine Control Module) or TCM (Transaxle Control Module).

Conditions for Setting the DTC
^ Wiring harness (or connector) between EBCM and ECM (or TCM) is shorted or opened.
^ ECM (or TCM) or EBCM internal fault.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets
^ DTC C1605, C1611, C1612, C1616 is (are) stored.
^ TCS disabled, TCS warning lamp turns on.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC
If the conditions that the DTC C1605, C1611, C1612, C1616 is (are) no longer presents, then the DTC (s) can be cleared by scan tool.
