Starter Installation

Install the starter-to-engine block mounting bolt and the transmission-to-starter mounting bolt.
Tighten

Tighten the starter-to-engine block mounting bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb-ft).

Tighten the transmission-to-starter mounting bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb-ft).

Position the starter electrical wire on the solenoid terminals and the ground wire.
Install the starter solenoid nut.
Tighten

Tighten the starter solenoid nut to 7 N.m (61 lb-in).
Connect the starter solenoid connector.

Install the air Inlet hose.
Install the air Inlet hose bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the air Inlet hose bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb-in).
Connect the negative battery cable.
