Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Clutch Control Cable & Cowl Mounting Nuts

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the clutch control cable to cowl and install the clutch control cable mounting nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts 13 N.m (115 lb in).

  2. Install the battery. Refer to Battery and Battery Tray Replacement in Engine Electrical.
  3. Connect the clutch control cable to the clutch pedal.

  4. Install the clutch control cable tot he mounting bracket (2).
  5. Install the clutch control cable-adjusting nut (1).
  6. Adjust the clutch control cable.
