Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Seat Belt Retractor & Rear Cargo Area

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the seat belt retractor in the rear cargo area with the bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt to 38 N.m (28 lb ft).

Install the seat belt with the bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the seat belt bolt to 38 N.m (28 lb ft).

Fig 3: Seat Belt Anchor & Rear Quarter Upper Pillar

Install the seat belt anchor to the rear quarter upper pillar with the bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the seat belt anchor bolt to 38 N.m (28 lb ft).
Install the rear cargo area trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Cargo Area Rear (Notchback) or Trim Panel Replacement - Cargo Area Rear (Hatchback) in Interior Trim.
Install the rear seat cushion and unfold the seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear in Seats.
