Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Driver Air Bag Module

  1. Install the driver air bag module.
  2. Install the connector to the driver air bag module.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the new driver air bag mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the driver air bag module mounting bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
