Circuit/System Verification

With Service Bay Test
- Verify the EVAP system using the EVAP Service Bay Test. DTC P0446 should not set.
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data to verify the DTC does not reset.
Without Service Bay Test
- Ignition ON, observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Verify DTCs P0443, P0452, P0453, P0458, P0459, P0498, or P0499 are not set.
- If a DTC is set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- Observe the scan tool fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor pressure parameter. Verify the FTP sensor pressure parameter is near 0 in H2O.
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
