2	Turn the ignition OFF. Disconnect the engine control module (ECM) connector. Remove the instrument cluster. Inspect continuity between terminal 3 of the vehicle speed sensor connector and the instrument cluster connector terminal 2. Does the ohmmeter indicate the specified value?	0 Ω	Go to Step 4	Go to Step 3
3	Repair the open circuit between the instrument cluster connector terminal 2 and terminal 3 of the vehicle speed sensor connector. Is the repair complete?	-	System OK	-
4	Replace the speedometer. Is the repair complete?	-	System OK	-
