Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) Removal and Installation: Removal

Disable the supplemental inflatable restraints (SIR). Refer to "DISABLING THE SUPPLEMENTAL INFLATABLE RESTRAINTS (SIR) :".
Remove the floor console. Refer to "FLOOR CONSOLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION :".
Remove the connector position assurance lock, which is tethered to SDM connector.
Disconnect the SDM electrical connector.
Remove the SDM mounting bolts.
Remove the SDM.
