| 2 | Check fuel tank pressure and temp, sensor circuit for short
Is resistance infinity? |
Go To Step 3. | "LT GRN" wire shorted to ground. |
| 3 | Check fuel tank pressure and temp, sensor circuit for power short
Is voltage 0 V? |
Go To Step 4. | "LT GRN" wire shorted to other circuit. |
| 4 | Check ECM voltage in fuel tank pressure and temp, sensor circuit
Is voltage 4 - 5 V? |
Go To Step 5. | Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. |
| 5 | Check fuel tank pressure and temp, sensor for performance
Is check result satisfactory? |
Go To Step 6. | Replace fuel tank pressure and temp, sensor. |
| 6 | Check fuel tank pressure and temp, sensor circuit high resistance
Is resistance less than 5 Ω? |
Go To Step 7. | High resistance in "LT GRN" or "ORN" circuit. |

Go To Step 8. | Repair or replace IAT sensor circuit. |
