This work must be performed in a well ventilated area and away from any open flames such as gas hot water.

Go To Step 3. | Tighten or replace fuel filler cap. |

Go To Step 4. | Fuel filler cap had loosened. Retighten fuel filler cap securely. If any leak is detected after retightening fuel filler cap, substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. |

Repair or replace the leaky parts. After repairing or replacing leaky parts, perform Step 3 once again. | Go To Step 5. |

Go To Step 6. | Repair or replace EVAP canister purge valve and its circuit. |
