DRL System Circuit Inspection

Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
Remove glove box (1) from instrument panel (2) as shown.
Disconnect DRL connector (3).

Connect negative (-) cable at battery.
Check that voltage and resistance between the following terminals and body ground are specifications under each conditions.
If check result is OK, replace DRL controller. If check result is not as specified, repair circuit.

G57-1	RED/WHT	Head lamp circuit	0 - 1 V	Fulfill the following conditions: Lighting switch is HEAD position. Dimmer switch is HI position.
G57-1	RED/WHT	Head lamp circuit	10 - 14V	Except above-mentioned condition.
G57-2	GRN/BLK	DRL indicator lamp circuit	10 - 14V	Ignition switch is ON position.
G57-2	GRN/BLK	DRL indicator lamp circuit	0 - 1 V	Ignition switch is OFF position.
G57-3	BLK/RED	Parking brake switch circuit	Continuity	Parking brake is applying position.
G57-3	BLK/RED	Parking brake switch circuit	No continuity	Parking brake is release position.
G57-4	WHT/BLU	Engine running monitor circuit	0 - 1 V	Engine is stop.
G57-4	WHT/BLU	Engine running monitor circuit	10 - 14V	Engine is running
G57-5	BLK/WHT	Main power supply	10 - 14V	Ignition switch is ON position.
G57-5	BLK/WHT	Main power supply	0 - 1 V	Ignition switch is OFF position.

G57-8	RED/BLK	Brake indicator circuit	10 - 14V	Ignition switch is ON position.
G57-8	RED/BLK	Brake indicator circuit	0 - 1 V	Ignition switch is OFF position.
G57-9	PNK/BLU	Lighting switch position circuit	0 - 1 V	Lighting switch is HEAD position.
G57-9	PNK/BLU	Lighting switch position circuit	10 - 14V	Lighting switch is OFF or CLEARANCE position.
