Trailing Rod Removal and Installation: Installation
- Install trailing rod (1) and tighten bolts by hand.
- Attach parking brake cable clamp (2) to trailing rod.
- Lower hoist and bounce vehicle up and down to stabilize suspension.
- Tighten trailing rod bolts (3) to specified torque with vehicle weight on suspension.
Tightening torque
Trailing rod bolt (a): 98 N.m (9.8 kg-m, 71.0 lb-ft)
