Blower Motor Controller Inspection

Check blower motor controller voltage as follows:

1. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
2. With blower motor controller connector connected, turn blower speed selector from OFF to MAX position while measuring voltage between "b" terminal of blower motor controller connector and body ground.

   BLOWER MOTOR CONTROLLER VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION
   
   

   Blower speed selector position	Voltage
   OFF	0 V
   MAX	approximately 8.0 V

   Check blower motor controller resistance as follows:

3. Disconnect blower motor controller connector.
4. Measure resistance between "c" and "d" terminals of blower motor controller.

If measured resistance is incorrect, replace blower motor controller.

Blower motor controller resistance 

"c" - "d": approximately 1.5 kohm
