CMP (Camshaft Position) Sensor and Its Circuit Inspection

If terminal voltages and ground circuit continuity are specified value, go to next step.

If terminal voltages or ground circuit continuity is out of specification, check and/or repair CMP sensor circuit.

If CMP sensor circuits are in good condition, check ECM. See INSPECTION OF ECM AND ITS CIRCUITS .

If waveform is out of specification, replace CMP sensor.

If waveform as specified, CMP sensor is in good condition.
