DTC detecting condition Trouble area
The fuel tank pressure rise exceeds specified value under EVAP control system monitoring condition.
(2 and / or 6 driving cycle detection logic)
  • Missing, loose or malfunctioning fuel filler cap, or leakage from cap gasket
  • EVAP control system vacuum passages
  • Fuel tank component parts
  • EVAP canister
  • EVAP canister purge valve and its circuit
  • EVAP canister vent valve and its circuit
  • Tank pressure control valve
  • Tank pressure and temp, sensor
  • Fuel level sensor
  • ECM
