Front Seat Removal and Installation: Installation

Install front seat assembly and tighten four adjuster bolts with specified torque.
NOTE: Be sure not to enter foreign substance to mating surfaces of seat adjuster and vehicle body.

Tightening torque

Front seat adjuster bolt: 35 N.m (3.5 kg-m, 25.5 lb-ft)
Connect seat harness connector (if equipped) and side air bag connector (if equipped).
Install front side sill scuff.
Install console box.
Connect negative cable to battery.
Enable air bag system referring to AIR BAG SYSTEM -- AERIO .
For passenger seat installation, perform following procedure.
1. Perform air bag system check referring to AIR BAG SYSTEM -- AERIO .
2. Perform occupant classification system rezeroing referring to AIR BAG SYSTEM -- AERIO .
3. If passenger seat is disassembled, perform occupant classification system sensitivity check referring to AIR BAG SYSTEM -- AERIO .
